What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our Website, you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and Website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our Website.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO PROVIDE. If you choose to inquire about our services, you may need to give personal information. For example, you may be asked to provide the following information:

Email Information

If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. Information gathered through web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our website, and the websites visited just before and just after our website. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual.

We recognize a special obligation to protect personal information obtained from young children. Our website is designed and intended for adults and is not of likely interest to children. The Google Analytics service tracks and reports website traffic and provides us insight into behavior information relating to visitor age, gender, and interests. Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting give us insight into behavior to help us understand browsing behavior and give you a better experience when you visit our website. 3. RIGHT OF CHOICE: HOW DO WE RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES? If you no longer wish to receive our e-mail communications, follow the unsubscribe instructions on our newsletter. These e-mails are sent through our email system. The company maintains an opt-out list to prevent us from sending e-mails to those addresses.

4. EXTERNAL TRANSFER: HOW DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION? Depending on how you’ve interacted with us in the past, and for what purpose, we may share your information in the ways described below:

Third-Party Service Providers. We may use other companies to provide services to our business and clients, and fulfill your requests. When you use our websites and applications, third parties may also collect information about your online activities, over time and across different internet websites, online or cloud computing services, online applications, or mobile applications. Our Websites do not currently change the way they operate based upon detection of a “Do Not Track” or similar signal.

SMS MESSAGING POLICY

General

When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.

By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Sevenfold Federal Credit Union (SFCU) and others texting on its behalf. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate. You are also authorizing SFCU to send you account-related text messages, account verification messages, account alerts, and OLB Multi-Factor Authentication messages. By doing so, you are accepting the following terms and conditions.

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with SFCU. SFCU reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. SFCU also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.

Message and data rates may apply to each SMS sent or received, in accordance with your mobile telephone service plan. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

You understand the text messages we send may be seen by anyone with access to your phone. Accordingly, you should take steps to safeguard your phone and your text messages if you want them to remain private. NO CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION SHOULD BE SENT VIA TEXT MESSAGE. Please notify us immediately if you change mobile numbers or plan to provide your phone to another person.

Carriers, Delivery, and Access

Mobile access and delivery of messages is not guaranteed and SFCU is not responsible for any issues related to network failures. You also agree to indemnify us for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify us if you change your telephone number, including but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA), as amended from time to time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time by texting “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP”, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be

sent unless you opt-in again. If you would like to receive messages from SFCU again, just sign up as you did the first time and SFCU will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at [email protected].
